Tomatin's experimental Cù Bòcan series is created only during the freezing Scottish winter, for a few weeks in fact Tomatin distils Scottish barley with a peat level of around 15ppm. But now the brand wants to start experimenting with innovative maturations and for this reason it has created the "Creation" series.
The Cù Bòcan Creation #1 is a slightly peated single malt Scotch whiskey created from a blend of 2 types of barrels: ex-Imperial Stout from the Scottish brewery of the Black Isle Brewery and ex-vino Bacalhôa Moscatel de Setubal. Not cold filtered and without the addition of colorings, it is bottled at 46%.
