El Dorado RUM PORT MOURANT 1999 61.4%PORT MOURANT 1999This very rare Demerara Rum was distilled on Wooden Double Pot Still, aged in ex-bourbon barrels, bottled as a limited release. Tasting NotesA bouquet of molasses-based aromas still in the pot with aromas of dark chocolate/toffee, smoke, aged tobacco, coffee, molasses, mild anise and vanilla with hints of sweet cut grass. The flavors continue where the aromas left off, with smoke, charred wood, tobacco, peat, sweet liquorice and fruity molasses again. The body is medium heavy, with a light alcoholic taste to deliver the flavors with a finish of charred wood and delicate liquorice.
