Ferghettina Franciacorta Rosé Brut Docg 2016The Franciacorta Rosé produced only with pinot noir grapes, combines in its gustatory characteristics the powerful expression of the red berry variety and the typical elegance of Franciacorta. For the production of rosé we select 14 vineyards located in 4 municipalities in Franciacorta. WinemakingThe whole bunch grapes are vinified using the Marmoninier press, an ancient pressing system that guarantees maximum respect for the characteristics of the Pinot Noir grape. Only the free-run must is extracted from the press. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out in steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 16 and 18 °C. The base wine rests in the tank until the spring following the harvest. Tasting characteristics: Old pink colour. Fine and persistent perlage. Very elegant aroma with notes of blackberry and raspberry. Excellent persistence and structure GRAPES 100% Pinot Noir HEIGHT OF VINEYARDS 250 m above sea level.
