Janneau Armagnac XO Decanter is the result of one of the best selections of Armagnac belonging to the French Maison, expertly mixed and combined together. The Janneau Armagnacs receive a double distillation, a part is distilled with a continuous still and the remaining part with a discontinuous still, the results of the distillations are subsequently subjected to long aging in oak barrels of different woods and toasting. The Armagnac Blend that makes up Janneau The X.O. Janneau is among the most awarded spirits from the Armagnac region at international competitions. The nectar is preciously kept inside a decanter bottle of rare elegance and beauty, also kept in a truly refined gift box with bright and intense colours.
At sight it is golden yellow in color with amber reflections, the result of the many years of aging of the various blends. The nose is intense, fine and complex, with aromas of berries, plums and notes of dried fruit, followed by spicy nuances of cloves, wood and sweet spices. The drink is full-bodied, round and harmonious, balanced and enveloping, consistent with the aromas previously perceived on the nose. The finish is very long and of interminable persistence, with continuous hints of overripe plums.
