Our company imports the root from France, today the main producer in the world, as in Italy the gentian lutea is a protected species and its harvesting is prohibited. The richness of this product is hidden in its root, large and fleshy, covered in scales with an aromatic odor and a flavor that is initially vaguely sweet and then decidedly bitter.
