Ron Colón High Proof Salvadoreno Rum is a rum produced by Licorera Cihuatan S.A. de C.V in El Salvador, which is immediately the only known rum producer  from El Salvador. Master Distiller and Blender is called Gabriella Ayala. In fact,  the rum is an exciting blend of rums from El Salvador and Jamaica. 70% is  6 year old column still from Cihuatan, 15% is unstored still  from Jamaican Hampden, Worthy Park and Monymusk, and 15% is 3 year old still  from Worthy Park in Jamaica. Ron Colón High Proof Salvadoreno Rum has a scent of  i.a. tropical fruit (banana and pineapple), raisins and plums, while the taste offers  i.a. notes of tropical fruit, caramel, chocolate, almonds and apricot. A very alternative blend with exciting notes. 55.5% ABV - 70 cl.

Warm amber

Nose / Aroma / Smell
On the nose you will find notes of exotic fruit from banana to pineapple on a rich note of marzipan, nut bread and wood spices.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
The aromatic profile is full-bodied and rich, based on aromas with more tropical fruits, a nice chocolatey note, toasted almonds and vanilla.

Finish
The finish is long and smooth for such a high ABV.
