Sahumerio is the Cihuatàn Limited Edition Rum that celebrates fire, a symbol of love and passion, also understood by the Maya as a benign and transforming force. In every Mayan home there was a "sahumerio" container in which incense and aromatic plants including tobacco and cocoa were lit to encourage Chantico, goddess of fire and love. Chantico took the form of an eagle or a snake, so if one of these animals was found in or near a house, love was on the way!

Sahumerio rum captures the hypnotic beauty of a campfire in every sip. For this 14 year aged rum, barrels were selected with characteristics that evoke the smoky aromas of what burned in the Mayan sahumerios. Dried myrtle, incense, cocoa butter, honey, dried apricots.
