Jamaica 2007 Peated Cask Finish is a rum distilled by a mysterious distillery in Jamaica in 2007 and aged mainly in ex-bourbon barrels before undergoing refinement for a few months in barrels that had previously contained peated single malt whisky. This rum is bottled at full strength (57.7% vol.) without the addition of colorings and without being cold filtered
Color: Bright gold.
Aroma: The nose welcomes a light peat smoke, candied orange peel, vanilla and granulated sugar.
Taste: On the palate it is full-bodied with notes of vanilla, walnuts, pepper, toasted almonds and a light peat smoke.
Finish: The finish is of good persistence, warm, here the peat notes are more intense with notes of tobacco, leather and cigar smoke, then vanilla, a light hint of citrus fruits and toasted dried fruit.
Ottimo vino, assaggiato in Calabria tanti anni fa' e continuato ad acquistare per il suo gusto delicato ed armonioso.. vivo in Piemonte e frequento la Calabria da 30 anni nella zona Ionica.. la cantina Iuzzolini è la mia preferita.. consiglio anche Donna Giovanna
