TASTING NOTES Rhum Japonais is one of the flagship products of the Ryoma distillery, a company based in the small city of Kuroshio. Rhum is a symbolic liqueur of the Caribbean and tropical islands, but this label demonstrates that it is possible to obtain an excellent distillate even in a reality like Japan. In the production of this distillate, there is an unmistakable Japanese touch since the yeasts previously used for sake are used in the fermentation. The Japanese white oak barrels are ready to welcome the Rhum, before the final bottling.
DESCRIPTION Kochi, located on the island of Shikoku, in the southern part of the archipelago and is particularly known for being one of the oldest distilleries in Japan for the production of rum. Kuroshio has a favorable climate for the cultivation of sugarcane, in fact the distillery uses its own for the production of its pure sugarcane. It thus offers an unequivocal guarantee of quality, controlling the entire production process chain. This distinguishes the skills of the Kikusui Distillery which today manages to surprise us with this unique nectar. Round and delicate, two adjectives that characterize Ryoma.
AGINGBetween 12 and 18 months in American and French white oak barrels.
