That boutique-y rum company C.A.C.D. Venezuela Batch #1 15 YO (50CL, 52.4% Vol.)
Batch #1 of Venezuelan Rum, produced at C.A.C.D., has on the label the beautiful Mount Roirama seen from above - that there are also pterodactyls, well, maybe it's a coincidence, maybe not. This single cask of rum is aged for 15 years, bottled at 52.4%, not cold filtered and not artificially coloured, it is a limited edition of 259 examples.
TASTING NOTES:
Aroma: Notes of spicy oak, pepper, tobacco and red fruits, with a little butter, too.
Palate: Toffee apples, licorice root, red grapes, coffee beans and gingerbread.
Finish: Sugared almonds, redcurrants and a little citrus.
Straordinario rapporto qualità/prezzo per un vino fresco, fermo con profumi prevalentemente fruttati. Al palato risulta morbido, fresco abbastanza armonico. Consigliato per accompagnare nelle calde serate estive, piatti a base di verdure di stagione e piatti di pesce. Può anche essere utilizzato come aperitivo servito molto freddo.
