TOMATIN 15 YO MOSCATEL (70CL, 46.0% Vol.)
Distilled on June 6, 2003 and aged for 10 years in traditional ex-Bourbon barrels, this single malt from Tomatin was racked in ex-Portuguese Moscatel barrels on May 1, 2013, for five years.
Bottled at 46%, it is a limited edition of 6,000 copies.
Aroma: Sweet aromas of cooked fruit, with very delicate spicy hints. Enveloping notes of
citrus fruits and orange, toasted almonds and raisins.
Palate: Creamy notes, initially vanilla; then more citrus fruits, marzipan, ripe figs and raisins.
Finish: Clean, sweet, still with cream
pastry and spicy hints.
