Inspired by the stories of the Vikings who ruled the island of Orkney for over 600 years, in whose culture dragons were feared but also revered figures thanks to their mystical powers. Legend has it that the warrior Sigurd slew the evil dragon Fafnir and drank his blood, receiving prophecies from it and becoming one of the most iconic figures of the Norse sagas. On the nose, notes of vanilla, honey, lemon and wood, with a light peat base. The taste is robust, with an aftertaste of earthy smoke, heather and peppercorns.
