William Lawson's Scotch Whiskey (1L, 40.0% ABV)
William Lawsons is a standard scotch with good value for money.
When creating this scotch, William Lawson did not follow the rules. The Scotch he invented was very different from that of the time, given that he used Scottish malt but not the traditionally peated and smoky one characteristic of the region.

The first impression when pouring this whiskey into the glass is the strong aroma it releases. Intense, strong, but pleasant, soft, with floral and sweet notes. By adding water the original aromas are maintained, but by adding ice the apple emerges forcefully.

The flavor is very soft and gentle, the water here too does not provide any benefit, unlike ice, which instead opens it up, changing the apple flavors to caramelized ones.

William Lawson's story
William Lawson was a Scotsman who emigrated to Ireland, and in 1889 he was already working as an export manager for E&J Burke, in Dublin, when he registered the brands "W Lawson & Co" and "Lawson's liqueur whisky" under the name E&J Burke. Although Burke and Lawson formed a partnership and worked together for several years, in 1903 Lawson was fired and left the company.

In 1972, when it was agreed that the new company William Lawson Whiskey Ltd would acquire all of Martini & Rossi's whiskey properties, William Lawson Distillers was created.
In 1993, Bacardi purchased Martini & Rossi, and the acquisition included 6 new distilleries.
Under Bacardi's ownership, William Lawson's sales have soared, so much so that Lawson is one of Scotland's most exported brands.
