Adelphi The Winter Queen batch 2 - 19yo (70CL, 54.7% Vol.)

Blend of single malts from the Glenrothes and Longmorn distilleries, in Speyside, and a single malt from the Zuidam distillery in the Netherlands. This whiskey is named after Elizabeth Stuart, daughter of King James VI of Scotland and Queen Anne of Denmark. She was Queen of Bohemia for a short time before spending much of her life in exile in The Hague.

Organoleptic characteristics: rather dry nose, notes of dried coconut, chocolate, which move towards sweet aromas of pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. The note of varnish and shoe polish is also strong. Upon opening it also releases maritime notes of iodine and ash. The palate is rich and full, caramel, custard, maraschino cherries, rhubarb with molasses and notes of barbecued meat. Soft and creamy finish, still notes of meat, roasted with quince crumble.
