Agavesito was born from an innovative project resulting from the collaboration between Cristian Bugiada, Claudio Sblano and Roberto Artusio, partners of La Punta, the Roman restaurant that celebrates the culture of agave distillate.

Their challenge was to create a high-quality organic agave syrup ready for use in mixology, easily available and standardized, which could enhance mixing with tequila, mezcal and other agave spirits.

To create Agavesito, several recipes were tested within La Punta, then perfected in the laboratories of Pallini, which boasts a long history in the production of syrups and liqueurs.

Agavesito is composed of a 100% organic agave nectar balanced with liquid sugar and natural flavours, which enhance the delicate flavor of the agave and make it transversal in mixing.

The Brix degree of Agavesito, which is between the Brix degree of normal syrups and the Brix degree of agave nectar, was chosen to improve the fluidity of the product during the mixing phase, maintaining the typical characteristics of the nectar itself unchanged.

The balanced percentage of fructose, naturally present in agave nectar, rebalanced with glucose, allows for a mixture with a variation in sweetening power, depending on the temperatures of use, more suitable for use in mixing, improving the texture of the final drink.

The innovation of Agavesito lies in being the perfect accomplice of tequila, mezcal and other agave distillates, enhancing and making the distillate the protagonist and giving the right and balanced aroma typical of agave nectar, without imposing itself as a flavour.
