ARTIST COLLECTIVE AULTMORE 2006 13 YO (70CL, 48.0% Vol.)

A 2006 Aultmore single malt from French independent bottler La Maison du Whisky, matured in a first fill sherry for 13 years before being released as part of its Artist Collective series. Sweet aromas of apricots, almonds, quince, vanilla, caramel and nectarine fill the nose, followed by black cherry, cocoa, ginger, heather honey and pine needles. On the palate it initially offers notes of lime blossom, lemon verbena, apricot and orange peel, slowly developing barley malt, beeswax, hay, dark chocolate and exotic fruits that persist in the finish
