Bimber Ex-Bourbon Oak Casks Batch 2 (70CL, 52.2% Vol.)
Distilled at the Bimber distillery located in London with the first casks being laid on 26 May 2016. This expression was set to mature in ex-bourbon oak casks for an undisclosed period of time before being bottled as a batch number two at the beginning of October 2020 with just 2,950 bottles produced.
Tasting notes:
Color: Liquid gold.
Aroma: green apples, apricot, creme brulée. Then here's lemon, marzipan and butter shortcrust pastry. Also some coconut and acacia honey.
Palate: Full-bodied and enveloping, with ripe pears, caramel and banana candies. A little more lemon and grapefruit, then cappuccino and honey
Finish: Long, persistent, honey, vanilla and apricots.
Ottimo vino, assaggiato in Calabria tanti anni fa' e continuato ad acquistare per il suo gusto delicato ed armonioso.. vivo in Piemonte e frequento la Calabria da 30 anni nella zona Ionica.. la cantina Iuzzolini è la mia preferita.. consiglio anche Donna Giovanna
