Blended “Akashi” is a whiskey produced by the Japanese distillery White Oak Distillery, located in Akashi, not far from the city of Kobe, in Hyogo prefecture. Today Japanese whiskeys have reached high quality levels and are appreciated by all enthusiasts. The Blended “Akashi” is made with 30% barley malt and 70% other cereals. Once the distillation process is finished, the Whiskey matures for a minimum period of 3 years in barrels previously used to age Bourbon or the fine and fragrant Spanish wines of Jerez.
