This particular Kentucky Bourbon owes, in a certain sense, its fortune to a woman: the wife of William Samuels, the original owner of the distillery.
A great admirer and collector of cognac, it was she who proposed to her husband the characteristic bottle with the cap closing with a wax seal and, not happy, she thought of both the name of the whiskey and the typical label; an enterprising and astute woman who, unintentionally, marked the fate of this beautiful Bourbon.
Produced exclusively with barley and wheat, i.e. without the use of rye and little aged, Maker's Mark is an atypical distillate, sweeter and more delicate than its Bourbon brothers.
Color: Bright amber
Perfume: hints of vanilla, orange and exotic fruit.
A low-acid Bourbon, of extraordinary softness, sweet and persistent that leaves no bitter aftertaste.
