ORIGIN OF GRAPES
Its origins are still uncertain, although it has been present for many centuries in the ampelographic heritage of the native Abruzzo vines. It is grown almost exclusively in the province of Chieti and in some areas of Teramo. Following the path of transhumance, it spread to some locations in northern Puglia.

WINEMAKING
The grapes are harvested manually in mid-September when the acidity content of the grapes guarantees the freshness of the wine. The fermentation yeasts are indigenous, selected on the local flora and linked to its biodiversity. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature. The maturation on good fine lees at the end of fermentation gives the wine complex and important tones.

MOUTH
It is citrusy, savory and fresh. It is characterized by a marked acidity.
