The native Lagrein vine is one of the leading varieties of our territory. A full-bodied, intense and rich red wine, whose cultivation is fundamentally concentrated on the sandy soils in the warmest valley areas of Alto Adige. The constant restriction of yield in the old vineyards allows us to obtain wines of unmistakable velvety fullness and elegance.

AGE OF THE VINES:

VINIFICATION:
The alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature takes place in a stainless steel tank for approximately 10-15 days. This is followed by malolactic fermentation and maturation in used tonneaux and barriques.

EVALUATION OF THE WINEMAKER:
The color is dark garnet red. In the nose it has aromas of violets, cherries and bitter chocolate. The flavor is harmonious and delicate with well-structured tannins and a persistent finish.

5 years + (in the dark, 12-14°)
