Ruby, with garnet reflections. The nose is complex and characterized by aromas of small black berries in jam and carobs on a spicy background. The taste is powerful and harmonious, characterized by velvety tannins and a long and pleasantly balsamic finish.

 

Grapes: 100% Aglianico del Vulture

Harvest: manual in boxes in the first ten days of November when the fruit is fully ripe.

Vinification: maceration for about 20 days, allowing more to be extracted by having perfect maturation of the tannins.

Maturation: in natural volcanic tuff caves, in French oak barrels or tonneaux, for a period of at least 12 months and another 12 in the bottle.

Alcohol: approximately 14.00%.

Organoleptic test:

Color: Ruby red with lively purple reflections, bright and impenetrable

Nose: The nose is complex and characterized by aromas of small black berries in jam, licorice, fenugreek and carobs on a spicy background.

Taste: The taste is powerful and harmonious, characterized by velvety tannins and a long and pleasantly balsamic finish.

Pairings: Excellent with game, braised red meats and mature cheeses.

Serving Temperature: serve at room temperature, around 18°C.
