Jewel of the Banfi family, Brunello Poggio all'Oro is produced from a single vineyard and exclusively in great vintages.

A particularly elegant Brunello Riserva with a complex personality. On the nose there are hints that gradually reveal themselves, from liquorice, coffee, plum jam and tobacco to finish with a light note of violet. The refined structure is in perfect balance with the acid part, which excellently supports the long persistence.

Production method

Maceration takes place at a controlled temperature (25-30°C) in combined Horizon steel and wood vats and lasts for 12-14 days. Matured in 30% French oak barriques and 70% in 60 and 90 hl barrels for 30 months, the wine is refined in the bottle for at least 18-24 months before being released on the market.
