After hours of tests, study, analysis and research, our artisanal Apulian gin with botanicals from Alta Murgia was born: a project built step by step, the natural evolution of a bond born years ago.

Perfumes, colors, alchemy. This is a story that was born in Puglia and has deep roots. Distilleria Rurale produces artisanal Gin and Apulian Amaro, entirely produced in Puglia and made with botanicals from Alta Murgia, hand-picked respecting their seasonality: fragrant herbs, meadow sage, wild fennel, mountain savory from the Alta Park Murgia, Juniper from the Gravina forest, Mentastri, Thyme, Salicornia marina harvested between Monopoli, Polignano and Otranto.

We carefully select fragrant herbs, meadow sage, wild fennel, mountain savory from the Alta Murgia Park, juniper from the Gravina forest, mentastri, marine salicornia harvested between Monopoli, Polignano and Otranto: botanicals carefully collected respecting their seasonality - always severed and never eradicated.

Distilled with alembic
We carefully choose the best aromas and fragrant herbs to make our Apulian distillates with a copper still - which has the characteristic of preserving the memory of the aromas released during distillation - and with a steam current method, in order to obtain a London Dry Gin.
