 Domaine Armelle et Bernard RION BOURGOGNE HAUTES CÔTES DE NUITS 2021

This 0.52 hectare tall vine is located in Magny-les-Villers, in the south of the Hautes
Coasts of the Nights. It is a south-facing and 35-year-old plot. It is the first
land in Hautes Côtes managed by the Domain. It is grassy between the rows and
shallowly plowed between the vines. Of course, here as everywhere
exploitation, Domaine Rion practices sustainable and thoughtful agriculture, exempt
of insecticides and herbicides thanks in particular to mechanical tillage of the soil.
The grape harvest is carried out after that of Pinot Noir, given the higher altitude.

the grapes are pressed in a pneumatic press. The grape must then ferments
directly into 400/450 liter French oak barrels and its refinement ends there
another 12 months.
This golden wine has aromas of white flowers such as hawthorn. It's a
mineral and unctuous wine on the palate, with pear aromas. To be served as an aperitif and at the table
fish, white meats and cheeses such as the famous Epoisses.
Aging: 4 to 6 years.
