PRODUCTION AREA: Ortona, Abruzzo
Alcoholic strength: 14.5% Vol.

VINEYARDS: Our vineyards are grown in the municipality of Ortona on the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo. The vines are planted with a southeast exposure on clay-limestone soil and are trained with a pergola system.

VINIFICATION: Thinning and soft pressing. Maceration-fermentation for 20 days. Malolactic fermentation in French wooden barriques and aging for 6 months.

SENSORY CHARACTERISTICS: Intense ruby ​​red colour; fruity, with notes of jam and cherry preserved in alcohol; spicy notes of licorice, aromas of vanilla and withered flowers. Full-bodied wine, good tannins, with a pleasant sour aftertaste; ready to drink.

IDEAL TO PAIRING WITH: Easy to drink, excellent with cured meats, tasty first courses, excellent with meat and cheeses.
