Foursquare 2007 13 YO Barbados edition No. 1 - The Colors Of Rum (70CL, 61.6% Vol.)
Barbados' Foursquare distillery is one of the most respected and sought-after rum producers in the world. So we had to offer a lot of his rums. Starting with a 13-year-old rum matured first in an ex-Bourbon barrel and then, for almost two years, in an Ex-English Malt Whiskey barrel. It is a mixture of both: still and column spirits, typical of Foursquare.
Tasting notes:
Color: intense gold.
Fragrance: vanilla, soft dried fruit, raisins, plum jam. Honey, orange blossom water, Earl Grey, mead, raisins. Some great herbaceous notes in the background, rather around the eucalyptus.
Finish: the same. Mandarins and liqueurs once again.
