G. Miclo Welche's Single Malt (70cl, 43%)

French single malt from the G. Miclo distillery and its Welche's Whiskey range. A pleasantly bright and fruity unrepeated expression, with lip-smacking vanilla notes running all the way through.

Fragrance: apricot, peach and raspberry. Toasted hazelnuts and some earthy malt.

Taste: still rich in stone fruit, although subtle herbaceous elements develop on the palate: dill and lemongrass.

Finish: just a touch of citrus and tough buttered wholemeal bread.
