This peated whiskey comes from the G. Miclo distillery, located in the French village of Lapoutroie, Alsace. Welche's Tourbé Whiskey is double distilled and the single malt is aged in small barrels from French wineries, giving it a rather silky honey flavor profile.

Nose: Prominent smoky aromas balanced by sweeter aromas of buttery caramel and fragrant honey.

Taste: Smooth and again buttery, rich peat smoke laced with more caramel, burnt sugar and malt grains.

Finish: A biscuity finish with gently fading charcoal and smoke.
