Lord of Barbès is a very fragrant and high quality ORGANIC gin, produced by the Bercloux distillery, a small artisanal business in Cognac.

This gin is obtained from the infusion of various basic botanicals (such as juniper, cardamom, coriander) to which further highly valuable botanicals have been added: dried mango, nutmeg, angelica and the so-called Monkey Bread, the fruit of the baobab plant .

The bottle of Lord of Barbès Gin vaguely recalls the model of pharmacy bottles and the cobalt color of the glass was chosen to protect its contents from the harmful influence of solar radiation.

The nose opens with pronounced floral notes, in particular lavender, acacia and honeysuckle, followed by spices such as cardamom, juniper berries

and nutmeg. On the palate the gin stands out for its subtle, powerful and surprisingly smooth taste, with hints of baobab fruit balancing bitterness and acidity on the mid-palate. The finish brings us back to the white flowers, while coriander and pepper berries come to greet the taster.
