GIN Okinawa Japanese RECIPE 01 BLUE LABEL (70CL, 47.0% Vol.)
Produced by the historic Masahiro distillery, Okinawa Gin combines juniper berries with five botanicals that admirably express the terroir of the Japanese island: shekwasha (typical citrus fruit similar to lime), Javanese long pepper, guava leaves, roselle and goya (bitter melon) . All this to give life to a distillate of great freshness and pronounced citrus notes.

Founded in 1883, the Masahiro distillery is renowned for its production techniques and ability to innovate year after year. Okinawa Gin was born in 2017 on the southern island of the same name in Japan, using distillation techniques typical of the culture and long local tradition of Awamori, rice spirits. Unlike Western systems, this gin is obtained using two individual distillers in order to create a unique, completely original flavour.
On the nose, Okinawa Gin presents citrus aromas with the typical freshness of traditional Japanese liqueurs, a freshness that is amplified in the mouth thanks to the combination of plant species originating from southern Okinawa: deliciously characteristic hints and flavors, a prelude to a very long finish.
