Glen Moray 2007 North Star Spirits 14 YO Oloroso Hogshead (70CL, 51.0% ABV)

An oloroso cask was filled at Glen Moray distillery in May 2007 and was discovered and selected by North Star 14 years later for their 16th run of casks. This series of 280 bottles showcases wonderfully warming dessert flavours, from cinnamon-dusted rice pudding to sweet dessert wine, with notes of crumbly biscuits and a bit of fruity jam.

Tasting notes

Nose – Fresh pink peonies, thick and sweet strawberry jam and red grapes.

Palate – Warm rice pudding with melted vanilla ice cream, cinnamon chips and nutmeg.

Finish – White chocolate and raspberry biscuits with a glass of sweet dessert wine.
