Its exceptionally deep color heralds that aromatic power and softness that are later found during tasting. The barrique has exceptionally developed spicy aromas with very clear notes ranging from pepper to cloves, from nutmeg to brown tobacco, from anise to liquorice. These first sensations accompany and subsequently reveal fruity aromas of jam, cooked apple, dried plum, almond and walnut. Then again a floral hint of honey, all in an extremely frank ensemble.
