PRODUCTION AREA Speyside, Benriach distillery.

Benriach Distillery, founded in 1898, is located near Longmorn Distillery, three miles south of Elgin in Morayshire. Glenlivet Distillers Limited closed the distillery in 1900 and reopened in 1965. In 2001, France's Pernod Ricard purchased the distillery from Seagram's of Canada.

In April 2004 the distillery was purchased by Scotch Whiskey veteran Billy Walker and has since been sold to Brown-Forman Corporation of Louisville America.

DISTILLATION AND REFINING Distillation in June 2006, bottling in Glasgow in March 2021.

Aged for 14 years in 550-650 l first use Port barrels. There are no added colorants and no cold filtration is done.

ORGANOLEPTIC DESCRIPTION Sweet fruit salad, spiced peaches and red grapes, with warm notes of dark vanilla. Long, oily and woody finish. The pink shade was given by the Port Pipe. FORMATS AND PACKAGING 70 CL - 51.9°.
