La Forra Tenuta Nozzole Chianti Classico Riserva D.O.C.G. 2020 - Ambrogio and Giovanni  Folonari

La Forra is the result of an ancient mass selection of native grapes in a mixed ecosystem of vineyard, olive grove and orchard dating back to the 1950s.

It is produced with grapes coming from vineyards of the Nozzole estate owned by us in the municipality of Greve in Chianti.

Sensory Notes

Aromas of spirited morello cherry, ripe red fruits and delicate tertiary nuances.

The taste is rich and elegant, deep and persistent characterized by a gentle but consistent tannin.

Maturation

in steel for the first 3 months then 16-18 months in 500 liter French oak barrels and a short passage in large barrels.
