OLD ENGLISH SLOE GIN (70CL, 30.0% Vol.)
Made from a base of Old English Gin and blackthorn berries, harvested in autumn, once ripe, before frost. The blackthorn berries are steeped in gin distilled by Langley for 6 months in the Danish Kirke Såby distillery and sugar is added before bottling. Sloe gin is not a gin, but a liqueur. It has an alcohol content of 30%, with a sugar content of around 10% and a predominant flavor that comes from blackthorn berries... and gin, obviously.
