The single cask 7542 of Monymusk, ex-American Oak Barrel, was distilled on May 6, 1999 and bottled on March 1, 2022. This Monymusk with MPG mark is 'light' style, with 3-day fermentation, distillation in the famous pot stills of Monymusk and a mixed maturation, partly tropical and partly continental, with an angel's share of over 62% and esters at 118.6 g/hlpa. Bottled at the full alcohol content of 53.9% in just 136 examples.

Aroma: powerful, burnt sugar, smoke, almonds and a cornucopia of fruits: citrus, green apples, grapes, raisins, dates, plums, peaches, strawberries. Palate: intense, tar and burnt rubber, light flowers, delicate white pulp fruits, then mango and red grapes and the tartness of lemon peel. Salted caramel. Finish: excellent, long, toasted, full of fruit, a light saline touch.
