El Dorado Rum 15 Year Old Special Reserve 70cl / 43%Demerara Distillers, with its 300 years of experience, has managed to earn a very important place in the production of the best Rums in the world. This special reserve, 15 years old, is a product belonging to the Premium segment, i.e. a blend of aged and selected Rums, in which the oldest has rested for a minimum of 25 years in oak. Blended to perfection by Demerara master distillers, it represents the perfect synthesis of elegance and attention to detail, also found in the shape of the bottle itself, with an unmistakable design, inspired by ancient containers, used centuries ago by farmers who planted sugar cane, to transport the Rum along the Demerara River, a Rum already known at the time as the best in the Caribbean. Intense and bright walnut colour, it presents intense aromas of dried apricot and plum jam, exotic fruit in syrup and sweet vanilla spices to the sense of smell , along with darker hints of tobacco, leather and black pepper. The gustatory impact is intense, full-bodied and elegant, very balanced between the softness of the fruit and the taste structure, enveloping and pressing in the aromatic references, with a very persistent coffee finish.
