Sibona Grappa Riserva Port barrels (0.5L, 44% Vol.)

This special Grappa Riserva di Nebbiolo, already matured for a long period (over 2 years), in oak wood, was subsequently aged for over 24 months in barrels purchased in Portugal and already used previously to elevate the "vintage Ports" of some of the most prestigious wineries. The particular permanence in port barrels, already used in whiskies, was experimented by us in an innovative way on Grappa and with exceptional results from a qualitative point of view. The delicate and particular aroma and the unique, full, elegant flavor with a fruity aftertaste are very reminiscent of that of the port already contained in these barrels.

Raw material: Nebbiolo pomace, from grapes harvested fresh during the harvest and selected Sibona.

Distillation: Totally in-house, in copper stills, thanks to the wise experience of our oenologists-master distillers.

Aging: for a long period in stainless steel tanks.

Aging: first for 2 years in medium capacity classic oak barrels and then in Port barrels for a further 2 years (total stay in wood 4 years).

Alcohol content: 44% vol.

Bottle: special and elegant Sibona graduated bottle with side notches indicating the contents and pouring spout.

Case: Elegant cylindrical case, with top closure.
