Our best vineyards overlook the sea towards the Tremiti Islands and contribute to the production of four wines, characterized by lots of fruit and strong minerality, all with a specific and inimitable identity, deriving from the dominant environmental components: sun, wind, sea and land .

First harvest: 2002
Winemaking: manual harvest with selection of bunches at the end of October. Fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature between 26-28° C for approximately 10 days. Maceration on the skins for a week. Soft pressing and selection of the different fractions of must. Malolactic fermentation and sur-lies aging in French oak barriques for 9 months. It rests in the bottle for another 4 months before being placed on the market.
The wine:
brilliant ruby red color.
Fine and elegant nose, complex, intense notes
vanilla desserts, ripe cherry and raspberry fruits. Wine with great structure and
balance, with soft and penetrating tannins. Long persistence with returns of
juicy red fruits, in perfect correspondence with the olfactory notes.
Food pairings:
red meat stews, game, dishes based on porcini mushrooms, tasty soups
and mature cheeses.
