This batch #1 from Diamond Distillery was
distilled 18 years ago from one of the four Diamond stills present, but not even we know which one it is. This is why there is a real quiz on the label: which of the four will be the right still? This Diamond is aged for 18 years, bottled at 55.6%, not cold filtered and not artificially coloured, it is a limited edition of 970 specimens.
Aroma: Citrus peel, green apple, ginger and cinnamon, then caramelized banana, with a touch of motor oil.
Palate: Rather woody at first, wood
moist, toffee, a little smoke and pineapple.
Finish: Old leather, fruit, milk chocolate, with lingering sweet raisins.
Straordinario rapporto qualità/prezzo per un vino fresco, fermo con profumi prevalentemente fruttati. Al palato risulta morbido, fresco abbastanza armonico. Consigliato per accompagnare nelle calde serate estive, piatti a base di verdure di stagione e piatti di pesce. Può anche essere utilizzato come aperitivo servito molto freddo.
