That Boutique-y Whiskey Company Distillery 291 - Rye Batch 1 - 11 Months (50CL, 49.9% Vol.)

Batch #1 of Rye is produced at Colorado's Distillery 291 with the unique recipe known as the El Paso County Process , or the addition of an IPA beer to the fermented product. The label is much more classic, with references to the 1920s: the design depicts Alfred Stieglitz, Man Ray and the ghost of Michael Myers. Aged 11 months, bottled at 49.9% alcohol content, not cold filtered and without artificial colouring, it is a limited edition of 496 examples. Tasting Notes

Aroma: Maple syrup, custard, salted popcorn with dried fruit, orange zest and spices: cinnamon and cloves.

Palate: Sweet licorice, dried apricots, apple chutney and vanilla; winter spices and maple syrup.

Finish: A persistent note of rye, donut and honey
