Transcontinental Rum Line Nicaragua 2004 (70CL, 43.0% Vol.)

It has a dark amber color, reminiscent of mahogany. It passes the olfactory test with hints of toffee and caramel, followed immediately by wood and liquorice, with an enrichment of almond and cocoa. It has a sweet taste and is soft and velvety. On the aftertaste it is persistent but changeable with notes of toasted coffee, vanilla and a vague sensation of malt and caramel.
