This name also recalls with its sound the Friulian word for "stone", or "piere": the area, in fact, is characterized by a particularly rocky subsoil, from which some stones were taken which are still present today in the walls of the Venica farmhouse .

Color
With a bright golden yellow colour.
Olfactory notes
Fruity notes stand out, recalling apricot and aromatic herbs such as sage and thyme. A great minerality distinguishes Malvasia “Pètris”.
Tasting notes
The apricot returns on the sip. The flavor, supported by mineral hints, reigns supreme. Long aromatic persistence.
To be accompanied with
Sea wine. Fried fish in different versions. Grilled sardines and pilchards, seared tuna steak. Seafood risotto. Boneless rabbit roll with aromatic herbs, baked turbot on a bed of potatoes and confit tomatoes.

Harvest
Grapes harvested and destemmed on September 12, 2022.
Winemaking | Refinement
Following harvest, the Malvasia grapes are macerated for approximately 20 hours at a temperature of 10°/12° C in special containers, protected from oxygen with innovative systems through the recycling of fermentation carbon, in order to reduce the of antioxidants. Approximately 60% of the wine ages in large wooden barrels while the remaining part in steel containers.
Bottling
The wine is then assembled and bottled on the full moons between March and June 2023.
