Von Winning is one of the symbolic companies of Pfalz, founded way back in 1849 but in fact always in step with the times both
from the point of view of vineyard management and winemaking in the cellar. Respect for nature, no use of
synthetic products in the vineyard, planting system of 9,500 plants per hectare - as at the end of the 19th century - with the use of only
traditional methods in the cellar (natural fermentation in 500 liter oak barrels, with a rest on the yeasts for up to 2
years before bottling). The result is terroir wines, elegant, mineral and profound, perfect wine icons
this increasingly renowned German region.
