Caol Ila The Distillers Edition 2022 is the new version for this annually recurring special edition of Caol Ila, one of the most famous distilleries in the world and owned for several decades by Diageo, the global beverage giant. Caol Ila was born in 1846 and quickly became one of the most iconic distilleries on the small island of Islay, managing to combine quantity with quality. Today the dimensions have grown and Caol Ila produces several million liters a year, while being able to count on a limited number of official labels: this Caol Ila The Distillers Edition 2022 is one of the few possibilities to taste an official version of this distillery with some peculiarity compared to the usual, that is, a final refinement of a few months in oak barrels which previously contained Moscatel wine: a great little daily discovery.



TASTE: iodized and peaty, of smoke and bacon, red fruit and citric notes

AGING: in ex bourbon oak barrels and finish in ex Moscatel barrels
