Here is the second release of the Travel's Retail series composed of three bottlings ("The Accord" and "The Tribute" the other two) initially dedicated to the retail market, The Elementa is the celebration of refinement in barrels.

The Glenmorangie 14 Years Old – The Elementa is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 14 years in selected American ex-bourbon oak barrels before being refined for a few months in fresh toasted oak barrels (virgin oak), this whiskey was bottled at a classic 43% abv.

Color: Light amber.

Aroma: On the nose we have notes of caramel, peaches and spiced chocolate with hints of vanilla, green grass and cloves.

Taste: The spices open on the palate, with notes of ginger and cloves, then honey, citrus fruits and dark chocolate.

Finish: Medium persistence, more spices and honey with a slightly bitter touch and hints of ginger and citrus fruits.
