Whiskey LINKWOOD 26 YEAR OLD 1981 Sweet Red Wine Cask (50CL, 55.5% Vol.)
Appearance: amber with pink reflections. Nose: soft, gourmet and finely woody, the first nose reveals notes of mocha, coffee and blueberry sweets. Exotic (guava), it evolves with nobility on tobacco and inebriating flowers (lily, iris). Flavour: both delicate and tense. Like the aromatic palette, it is very fragrant (purple). Sweet citrus fruits (orange, mandarin) gradually fade behind notes of Turkish delight and salted butter caramel. Overall: slightly tannic and with a pleasant fruity bitterness, it is invigorating. Its fruitiness acquires intensity (apple jelly). Presence of creamy notes of chestnut and coffee enhanced by spices (star anise, cloves).
San Leonardo è una garanzia..."Terre" come entry level della cantina si colloca ai piani alti nella sua categoria. Superiore a tantissime etichette base di parecchie cantine. Consigliatissimo. Si presta anche nell'essere servito un pò più fresco in estate (14°-15° C)
