Port Charlotte 10 Years Old is the first age-stamped release of Bruichladdich's heavily peated whisky. This single malt is aged for at least 10 years in a mix of barrels: 65% first-fill barrels that previously contained American whiskey, 10% refill American whiskey and 25% refill French wine barrels.

Golden in colour, the nose presents enveloping notes of sea peat, salted caramel, lemons and ginger with hints of algae, pineapple and dried grass. On the palate it is full-bodied and quite balanced, the notes of sea peat blend with citrus fruits, custard, liquorice and pepper. The finish is in true Port Charlotte style: sublime, dry, peaty, but at the same time sweet with hints of dark chocolate and malted barley, orange, mango, banana cake and coffee.
