A part of the majestic Pichincha is called Cruz Loma, and has been the scene of important geographical changes and historical moments that have marked us, such as the "Battle of Pichincha" of May 24, 1822, decisive for the independence of Ecuador. Furthermore, Cruz Loma was the base for the measurement carried out by the geodetic mission, despite the many difficulties they faced with the native peoples of the region.
Cruzloma has the shape of a cross, which makes it unique and emblematic for all of us who live surrounded by the Andean mountains. Visiting it, breathing its air and savoring its magic and mystery makes it an unforgettable place for us.
